Revision Strategies

As well as WHAT to revise students also asked us to share tips on HOW to revise.  A presentation on the Top 10 revision strategies informed by research can be accessed HERE.

All students will be e-mailed an individual copy of these documents.  Students are also encouraged to take their exercise books home to help them prepare for their assessments.

Key Stage 4 Options 2017 – Year 8

options

It will soon be time for our Year 8 students to choose which subjects they wish to study as options in Years 9, 10 and 11.

To support students, parents and carers in doing this, we will be holding our annual Parents’ and Options Evening in school on Wednesday 3rd May, between 3:30 – 6:30 pm.

Today, we have also published our Key Stage 4 Options 2017 – Course Details Booklet which contains further guidance and information on courses.

Students will need to complete an Options Choice Form signed by parents/carers and return it to their Form Tutor no later than Wednesday 10th May.

All students have been e-mailed an electronic version of the Course Details Booklet and Options Choice Form today.  Both documents can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate links above, or via the Curriculum section of the ‘STUDENTS’ or ‘PARENTS’ menu on our website homepage.  Hard copies will be issued to students after the Easter break.
