Some of our year 10 and 9 students have been working with Pen-Yuan Hsing (“Pen”) of the Department of Biosciences (@DurBiol) at Durham University on the MammalWeb citizen science project (www.MammalWeb.org@MammalWeb).
Since last year, they have set up motion sensing camera traps in the wilderness to snap photos of local wildlife such as deer’s or red foxes. This is the short film the students contributed to alongside Pen and the Citizen scientists .
On Thursday 12th October (6.00PM - 7.00PM), we will be hosting a Key Stage 4 Revision
Evening. Letters have gone out to parents and are available in the Letters to Parents section.
We will be taking part in Jeans For Genes day on Friday 22nd September. Students and staff are invited to wear jeans in place of their school trousers or skirt to help raise money to help those children in the UK who have a life altering genetic disorder read more
